The IntelliFinder RFID Tag is specifically developed to be locatable in terrain.

The RFID Tag is developed for use exclusively in conjunction with an IntelliFinder RFID Scanner.

Depth, Placement & Guidelines

When burying an IntelliFinder System IntelliFinder RFID Tag at a location, the following guidelines must be followed to ensure optimal traceability of the RFID Tag:

• When buried, the RFID Tag can under normal circumstances be detected via the IntelliFinder App.

• Using an IntelliFinder RFID Scanner at a depth of up to 100 cm below ground level.

• As a general rule, the RFID Tag must always be placed horizontally. If the RFID Tag is angled more than 30° relative to horizontal, the reading range will be reduced.

• Distance to metal objects: Minimum 10 cm.

• The RFID Tag is traceable in soil, but NOT through metal.

• The IntelliFinder RFID Tag “Credit Card” can be mounted using “waterproof” tape, or the credit card holder can be mounted with cable ties using the credit card magazine for cable-tie mounting.

• The IntelliFinder RFID Tag Robust must be mounted in a horizontal position and secured with two heavy-duty cable ties that can withstand frost.
